Get involved with your alma mater by giving back!

If you have an interest in supporting the foundation’s efforts, come join us! You can volunteer your time and talents by serving on a committee that aligns with your interests or experience. Some event or project commitments are year-round, while others have a three-to-four-month timeframe annually.

Scholarship Committee

Be part of the selection process by reading student essays and reviewing applications; support the ongoing development of the application process and scholarship recipient recognition efforts.

Hall of Fame Committee
Help select the next class of inductees by reviewing nomination forms; coordinate event planning and silent auction for the induction ceremony and dinner; support the ongoing development of the nomination process and inductee recognition including the physical Hall of Fame located near the main office at Pueblo County High.

Public Relations Committee

Share the stories of our honorees and the invaluable work of the foundation with the Hornet community through communication channels including the website, social media, graphic design, newsletters and media relations; support scholarship and Hall of Fame committees with the proper communications.

Finance Committee

Drive the financial aspects of the foundation including budget management, receiving and tracking of donations and corporate sponsors, and dispersing funds to scholarship recipients and school projects funded by the foundation.
